STYRDACH layer panels
STYRDACH layer panels are EPS 80-038 FACADE polystyrene panels on one side glued to base tar paper on glass fabric.
Designation, extent and conditions of application
STYRDACH layer panels are designated for the execution of heat insulation of flat roofs. They may be laid on the following types of non-flammable bases:
- concrete
- cement mortar
- trapezoid sheeting
STYRDACH panels are secured to the base (depending on its type) with the aid of mechanical connectors (concrete, trapezoid sheeting base,) or with the use of adhesives designated for glueing polystyrene (concrete base) authorised for distribution and application in building. Glue should be laid directly on base. Surface of base should create even plane. In the case of mineral bases (concrete and of cement mortar) and tarpaper it is recommended to lay a preparation layer of bitumen substances, which do not have a damaging effect on polystyrene. From the external side STYRDACH panel should be covered by a layer of cement mortar of a thickness of 3-5 cm, appropriately expanded, constituting base under roof covering of tarpaper.
STYRDACH panels have surface tongues of tarpaper beyond the panel edge of a value of 5 cm, constituting mounting overlap. They may be prepared in the form of panels with fall enabling the obtaining of the required roof fall shape.
Commercial form:
Panel dimensions 100x100, 100x150 cm, 100x300 cm, thickness: from 4 to 50 cm every 1 cm
